in the Park: Chapel Hill Outdoor Summer Concert and
Movie Series 2005
Close to 2000 attendees throughout the summer enjoyed
the outdoor summer concert and movie series. Presented
by the Downtown Economic Development Corporation, this
outdoor summer series brought a free movie or music
concert to McCorkle Place on the UNC campus every Wednesday
from June 15, 2005 through August 3, 2005. Artists included:
Cool John Ferguson, Dub Addis, Chris Stamey and Roman
Candle. The movies: The Incredibles, Bend it Like Beckham,
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Hitch were
kicked off with DJ tunes by DJ Sleazy McQueeen, DJ Kraze
Rock, and DJ Turbanator.
