Parrish
Anderson is an Oxford, NC native with six years
in Events Management. From 1999-2003, Parrish worked
for the Town of Chapel Hill in the Parks and Recreation
Department and was responsible for directing the town
sponsored events including: Apple Chill (50,000 attendees),
Festifall (20,000 attendees), Summer Concert Series,
Plaza Movie Series, and the Fourth of July Fireworks
celebration at Keenan Stadium. He also ran the town
teen center. After stepping down as Event Coordinator,
Parrish worked with the Downtown Economic Alliance to
produce the holiday event series focusing on bringing
folks to downtown Chapel Hill for their holiday shopping.
From 2003 to 2006 he has been contracted by the Carolina
Designer and Craftsman Guild to produce the annual Thanksgiving
Fair and Tradeshow that takes place at the NC State
Fairgrounds. Parrish is a former student of the NC School
of the Arts. Parrish also plays saxophone and keyboards
and if you're lucky, you've had the chance to hear him
play.
